When I try to bridge, the BlackBerry Playbook picks up the Freedom Pro keyboard, however my BlackBerry doesn't.

The bridging app seems to be causing the problem here. What you have to do is is download an OTA version of the bridging app and this will make sure that the BlackBerry and PlayBook recognises the Freedom Pro. Please note that although the PlayBook will recognise the Freedom Pro, it will not be able to connect to it.
